This week in Science 3W have been looking at identifying bones in the human skeleton. Thanks to Mr Carter we learnt a new song. Children also made a prediction about who will be able to jump the furthest . We did this by carrying out an experiment measuring everyone’s femur and measuring the distance with a tape measure. Did the children with a long or short femur bone jump the furthest ? We all had a fun learning . 😊👍🏼
What is the longest bone in the human skeleton?
Can you find out what the smallest bone is in the human skeleton ?
How many bones are there in the human skeleton?
Do people with the longest femur jump the furthest? Explain your answer.
