5 Blue Detective performances

We acted out a scene from Sherlock Holmes story. We had to empathise with the characters and think carefully about our body language and facial expressions as well as the sequence and language used.

What has been done well? How could these performances be improved?

How was Abigail feeling when she arrived in Sherlock’s parlour?

How does Sherlock behave in response to the constable’s update?

    1) The performances could be improved by adding more expressions and to behave curious to help you find out more information. It is important to make sure that you are facing the audience.
    2) Abigail was feeling upset and shocked because she saw her beloved teacher lying on the floor and blood is scattered all over the classroom.
    3) Sherlock Holmes rolled his eyes in disbelief after hearing the constable because he knows it is not true.
