5 Blue Gothic poems

Mr Kane

This week 5 Blue have been exploring Victorian gothic poetry. The children learnt some of the stanzas from Edgar Allan Poe’s ‘The Raven’. We read the poem with Intonation and in such a way that reflects the subject matter and macabre nature of the poem. Well done 5 Blue your readings were fantastic.

    I loved preforming the poem.We used change of voice to make a deep and scary tone,which I liked.

    I liked when everyone used intonation and expression and changing the pace.
