5 White Explore the BCLM

Today, 5 White have been history detectives; finding out about life in the Victorian era. They took part in a Victorian school lesson, visited a Victorian village and even got to experience what working down a mine was like. They represented BH so well. Well done and thank you to the children who contributed to the blog by taking the photos in the video.

What was the best part of the day?

Which school values have you used and how?

Tell me 3 new facts you have learnt from today.

1)Knowledge because I told the sweet seller
how people might have got sweets(British
    Hong Kong).
    2) How dark it was in the mine, how often it
flood and how much iron, coal and steam there is in the area.

My favourite part was going in the mine it was kinda scary but I love the statues and I love the school life .

I used teamwork because we worked together as teams to walk through the mine

People who went to work got more food and the last people got the leftovers.
They are shared the sweet by licking it and the youngest family member would get the sweet .
The people who went to school and came back home told the family members back home the stuff they learnt at school so the other family could learn too.
