This tradition happens because it says that Easter eggs are eaten as they hatch at spring but the Easter eggs have life inside them.
We do this because we celebrate life over death as it relates to Jesus resurrection.

I don’t exactly know, yet at Easter I do an easter egg hunt on the Sunday, even though I’m not a Christian I celebrate Easter.

Easter is extremely important to Christians because, in the Bible, It represents Jesus dying on the cross and coming back from the dead on Easter Sunday. It is also celebrated for the fun of eating chocolate usually, after easter egg hunts.

These are 1 Red’s thoughts:
Isabelle – When I sleep, the Easter bunny is going to come and leave some eggs in the house, and when I wake up mum is going to hide some eggs in the garden for me to find.
Inarah – I am going to an Easter festival which will have decorations, chocolate eggs and a big Easter bunny.
Minsa – My dad will hide eggs in the garden for me and my sister, and I will eat them.
Hussein – At home i am going to decorate some eggs with my family.
Oliwia – I am going to make some Ester cakes at home with my mum with little Easter eggs inside,
Martyna – I am going to help my grandma to decorate and make some yummy Easter food.
