A debate is like an argument that people use in persuasive texts.
Against because lots of agreed on that and we can save the rainforests by recycling all the paper and plant new trees to save our rainforests and we don’t need paper if we are recycling it and we might need wood but chop down a little amount and plant new trees.
We can make our arguments more powerful by thinking real hard why we actually need trees and make your argument more interesting and more convincing as well.

    1. A debate is a polite argument about the same thing that some people
think is good and some people think it’s bad e.g deforestation and war.
2.In my opinion I feel like against deforestation is more convincing because I like animals and safaris and I don’t want them to be homeless and extinct because 10% of animals live in the Amazon rainforests.
    3. You can make your arguments more powerful by making a point and explaining your persuasive point.🌿🌴🍃🌲🌳🌼🌸🐰🐿🐍🕊🌷🍀
