I would like to say a very big thank you to all of the staff and families that made this evening so special. The weather seemed perfect and only started drizzling as the fireworks display came to an end.
It was also wonderful to see so many of our past pupils who are no longer at Broad Heath coming back to visit us and enjoy the display with us.

I think each and every one of us really appreciated the fact that even though all of you had been at school since the start of the day, teaching and helping the children to gain, you still gave up your evening so that we could enjoy bonfire night ❤ that is true dedication and selflessness and you should all feel very proud! It was awesome you are right. As a school we want all children to hav3 awesome opportunities. Many bonfire parties tonight are charging lots of money, we did not make any money because we wanted all the community to enjoy it. The fireworks cost us hundreds of pounds but they were worth it for the ooos and the arrrrhs!

As you had told us 5 to 6:30 but to the time we came there at 5:30 it was finished the bonfire.
The bonfire was lit at 4.50pm to help keep the ‘early birds’ warm. The fireworks display started about 5.20pm and the amazing fireworks went on for quite a while. If you and your family had been on time you would have had a chance to eat, talk with your friends and watch the display. We are lucky that Shaun helped to make such a wonderful blog to help us see and remember how amazing the display was. Please remember punctuality is important!
