How lovely to see so many of our pupils receiving the rewards for their positive behaviour. It was a bit of a whistle stop tour but I thoroughly enjoyed bringing the yoyo’s (Reception Classes) and pens to you and making this blog.
Class 4 Red Blog 18-19Learning gives us wings!
This week 4Red have travelled back in time to the 1940s. They have learning a song from the 1940s called “We’ll meet again” by Vera Lynn. Watch our class performance and comment below.
This week we have been looking at a musician from the 1940s – Vera Lynn. The children created a fact file about her and drew a portrait of her. Please tell me 3 facts about Vera Lynn and her music?
Next half-term there will be a football after school club for year 4. If you would like to attend please see me for a letter.
Year 4 children worked exceptionally hard this half term to learn new vocabulary and combine previous learning to write their own versions of ‘The Little Brown Mouse’. Have a look and see what you think!
On Friday 1st March 2019 some children from KS2 will be representing Broad Heath in a boccia event. This will be held at Woodlands Sports Complex from 9:30am – 2.00pm .The children who are selected will need to bring appropriate footwear. Those who have been selected will be informed shortly.

Yesterday, the children explored the characterisation and voice of a variety of characters from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. They explored their voice through intonation, tone and blending different pitches to voice their character. Next, they moved onto using their body language to convey emotion and characterisation. Keep up the hard work!
