Today the children practised silly poems. They focused on their intonation and actions for the words. They took inspiration from Michael Rosen’s poem which I have included below.
Class 2 White Blog 20-21
Today, children in year 2 compared volumes. They used their previous learning of fractions (quarters) to identify the water level using the key vocabulary such as half full and three quarters full. Well done 2 White!
We learnt a silly poem called ‘I had a little frog’. Then in our small group we worked with Miss Ramsell to practise performing the poem using expression. We enjoyed performing our poems, hope you enjoy listening to them!
