Converting Measurements-5 Red

Converting measurements can be tricky…. 5 Red investigators at the ready!

Today, we used a ruler to measure different items around school. We compared whether it would be easier to use imperial or metric measurements. We also discussed if the measurements we took was the best way to measure size of different items.
Please

What two items did you measure? Give the size in centimetres and inches.

Is it easier to measure big items using a ruler or metre stick? Tell me how you know.

Is it easier to measured big items using a ruler or metric stick? Is easier to measure big items because when you measure the metric stick is more easier to measure a big item.

The two items you can measure is imperial and metric because you can measure these two things that we learn about.
