Cooking Up A Storm in 6 White! STEAM Week 2023

As part of STEMterprise week 2023, the children in 6 White were tasked with creating a restaurant business idea. Using ‘The Summit’ cafe on top of Mount Snowdown as an existing business model, the children were asked to design a cafe for Dovedale, linking with our Mountains unit and trip to Derbyshire. The children loved exploring business components such as marketing, branding, slogans and market research. Take a look at the hard work they put into the project below!

    This task was fun because I was in teams with nice people and baking was nice because I made something that I have never made before

    It was a great opportunity to bake for the first time in Year 6
    I loved all the activities but my favourite thing was the hot chocolate
