Entrepreneur Week in 1 Blue

This week we have learnt what an entrepreneur is in preparation for our school fair on Friday 16th June.

We learnt about the entrepreneur Dr Thomas John Barnardo who set up a charity. What is a charity?

Part of being an entrepreneur is making money. So a big focus this week was recognising coins and counting and making amounts. What does a 20p coin look like? Which has a greater value a 50p coin or a £2 coin?

As usual, we have been doing some Arts and Crafts and made purses with Mrs Patel.

In year 1, we are having a bric a brac stall. So have advertised our stall. Watch this space …. Year 1 intend raising lots of money! Please come 👍🏾

    A charity is a place that raises money for different things.

    £2 is more than 50p. (Aaron needed support to work this out).

    I am excited for the summer fair.
