Maths in 1 Red

In maths we have continued to develop our understanding of number bonds within 10 using a range of resources including numicon, ten frames, part part whole model, double sided counters and number bond bracelets.

A systematic method has been used, which is where all the answers are found in an order and there is a pattern.

Can you list all the ways of making one of the following numbers: 5, 6, 8 or 9 systematically? Showcase your fabulous learning below.

Mueez did the following for 5,6,8 and 9 by himself. After explaining how the first column starts from 0 and the second from 5 for the example number 5. He grasped ascending and descending or forwards and backwards number patterns.

    0+9= 9
    1+8= 9
    2+7= 9
    3+6= 9
    4+5= 9
    3+6= 9
    2+7= 9
    1+8= 9
    0+9= 9

  2. Rayyan R.

    5+0=5
    1+4=5
    3+2=5
    4+1=5
RAYYAN did it all by himself😊

  3. Shreya S.

    0+9=9
    1+8=9
    2+7=9
    3+6=9
    4+5=9
