Mindfulness May

Good morning Year 4,

Well done for your superb efforts and hard work in Summer 1. It has been an amazing few weeks and you have all shown your BH values in your everyday learning.

Keep focusing and practicing your times tables daily, reading every day to an adult at home or yourself but also make sure you have a restful holiday… you have earned it!

Bring the same energy and positive attitude in Summer 2.

Here are some ways you can practice mindfulness at home, to unwind and relax.

Remember, this is important for your health and helps you to feel more calm and relaxed. Mindfulness does not always have to be writing. If this is what works for you, great. However, mindfulness can also be practised in ways such as being active by playing your favourite sport, or even going for a walk/run. You could go to the park, read outside or spend time with family and friends. You could even learn a new skill or help someone else.

Any of these activities that you choose to do have a positive impact on yourself and the others around you.
