So the way we get day and night is the earth rotates and when it is day for us it is night for the other half of earth and when its night for us its day for the other half of the world
I think the shadows will be shorter at night and shadow will be longer at day.

We get sun light when the Earth rotates because when we are facing to wards the sun we get light but when we are facing to the back we don’t get light
I think shadows will be longer when it is day because there is more light than at night because at night it is dark whether at day the sun is facing us so there is more light
