We played a seaside game that requires teamwork! We put a ball on top of a parachute and worked together to create waves making sure the ball didn’t fall off!
PD – Choose the right resources to carry out our own plan.
We used dough and shells to make our own seaside tiles.
Mathematics – Extend and create ABAB patterns.
The children were encouraged to extend repeating patterns using transport vehicles.
Literacy – To develop phonological awareness.
We practised our word blending using cars to help us.

We explored friction using a toy train and ramps. We explored different materials on the ramp.
EAD – To play instruments with increasing control.
The children selected one instrument to play on different ways to represent the sea in different weathers. Can you tell which one shows the sea in a storm?
