The children have settled in really well after the holiday and were eager to share the exciting things they have been doing with family and friends over the past two weeks. It was lovely to see them come into school full of enthusiasm with big smiles on their faces.

Basic Skills – To write my name correctly

We described the character βEvil Peaβ from the story βSupertatoβ by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet.
Wednesday
Reading/Phonics – To identify sounds in words and read CVC words.
Basic Skills – For World Braille Day we tried writing our names in Braille.
Maths – To identify groups with more
Maths Mastery – To investigate different ways of making 4
Thursday
Literacy – To write a speech bubble from one of the vegetables in the story βSupertatoβ
Maths – To build a superhero using 2D shapes
Friday
Maths – To identify groups which have a fewer amount
Literacy-Reading and Phonics. To make CVC words using individual sounds
