In English today, 2 White learnt about past and present tense.
Using a selection of words, they categorised past and present tense words into groups.

What is past and present tense?
Past tense is an action that has already happened whereas present tense is an action happening now.

Usually we are able to identify the present tense as it is formed by the root form. For example: play becomes played and jump becomes jumped.
