Project week in nursery!

This week the children learnt about background bob and that he is an artist.

We used some of his art ideas to make our own art pieces.

We made some acrylic artwork using paint, we used our fingers to spread the paint along the paper. We talked about the colours and explored what happened to the paint.

We made a marble painting piece and by the end of the week we made a class salt raised painting using glue, salt, and water paint.

Please see the pictures and videos below! What did you enjoy the most this week and why?

Raised salt painting!

We worked together to make an abstract painting using salt, glue and paint!

Marbled Art Piece!

We used foam and different colour paint to make our marbled art work inspired by the artwork from Background Bob.

Acrylic Abstract Artwork!

We used our fingers to drag the paint across the page. We talked about the different colours that we could see and explored what happened.

2D shapes!

Different patterns using chalks!

Following along the line…

Outdoor fun with ice and paint!

A big happy birthday to Mohammed this week too! 🥳

It was a lovely term. I learned lots of new things from my teachers and friends. I really enjoyed doing paintings and counting. I keep practising my numbers and alphabet.

I liked project week. It was fun! I liked painting outside the most because
