Reading Gladiators. Year 5.

Hello to my Reading Gladiators. Our Reading Gladiators book for this term is called ‘Journey To The River Sea’ by Eva Ibbotson. We started off talking about the cover and predicting what the story would be about. We read some of chapter 1/2 and discussed the characters and scene. Homework for this week was to read chapter 2 & 3.

Your CHALLENGE for this week is below. Similarities and differences between Clovis and Maia from chapter 2. Can you complete this and bring it to the group next week.

    Similarities are they both have no parents and differences are Clovis is an actor and Maia is a student ,Maia haa no parents while Clovis was taken by Mr and Mrs Goodley by the permissions of Clovis foster mother,Clovis lives with the Goodleys while Maia lives with the Carters.
