RW – PSED – Looking after our environment.

Today the children used different tools to pick up litter and tidy up the outside areas around school. They developed fine and gross motor skills when doing so and were able to talk about why it is important to pick up litter and to keep our school tidy and clean.

When we returned to the classroom some children decided to make some posters to show other children in the school how they can help to also keep our school environments tidy. They used their phonetic knowledge to write the sounds they could hear in the words they were trying to write.
