Science – To experiment with marbles and talk about our findings

Miss Korotania

This half term we are going to design and build a system that allows a marble to run from top to bottom.

Experiment 1 – We used a timer to time how long it took for the marbles to move across the table.

Experiment 2 – We observed how long it took the marbles to roll across the different surfaces.

Experiment 3 – We observed how long it took for the marbles to roll down each slope.

    I learnt that the marble rolled faster on the wood and not on the grass. The big marble rolled faster because it went far away.
