Today, the children delved deeper into 2-D shapes. The children learned all about symmetry and were brilliant at applying their new learning today! In the afternoon, they created Kandinsky style art work. They were STUNNING!

Today, the children explored the nets of 3-D shapes. The children learned that the faces of 3-D shapes were made from 2-D shapes! After that, the children learned to count the vertices of 3-D shapes correctly. A great day!

Today, the children explored the edges of 3-D shapes. The children very carefully used a marker to mark each edge. They did this seamlessly. After that, they thought carefully about which 2-D shapes make 3-D shapes. So much progress!
