Spring Week 1

5 White have had an amazing first week back. The pupils have settled back into school really well, me and Mrs Habib are very proud of 5 White’s energy and attitude towards their learning. Behaviour as been exemplary in what has been a busy week full of new topics.

In Maths we have been extending our multiplication knowledge by multiplying by 2 two digit numbers. Some of the children struggled at the outset however demonstrated tremendous resilience and tenacity to overcome and master their new found skills.

In English the children have begun a new series of lessons getting to grips with detective stories. We have analysed the key features/common themes within a detective texts and drawn comparisons to our new history topic, the Victorians.

In Science we have been analysing the effects of friction on moving objects to deepen our knowledge of forces.
