This week is STEAM week (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) and Year 1’s big question for the week is, ‘How is Diwali celebrated?’ Today we had a great time beginning our investigations by sharing the Rama and Sita story, designing mendhi patterns and exploring which material we thought was best to create a Diva.
What have you learnt about Diwali?
I learnt about diiwali my most favriout was diwali lamps Azmat loved it he loved the party,
Abdullah really enjoyed his week.
Adam enjoyed learning about Rama and Sita and enjoyed designing mehndi designs.
I really like the Mendi patterns and diva makings was really fun 🤩 thanks 😘😘😘😘
I’m really enjoying this week
I have learnt how they dance at Divali and I have learnt that Hindus light diva lamps.
