The Gruffalo in Reception Blue

This week, as part of our new topic ‘Our Favourite Stories’, we have been reading ‘The Gruffalo’ by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. We talked about the role of the author and illustrator and then discussed our favourite part or favourite character, explaining why. We are encouraging the children to talk about the stories this term using full sentences. Please have a look at our video and leave a comment.

Can you think of another story that you have enjoyed? What was your favourite part of that story and why?
