The Queens Green Canopy!

At Broad Heath we are always at the forefront of new initiatives and today was just another example of this. We were one of only three organisations (in the West Midlands) chosen to be part of this unique experience to mark the Jubilee.


The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 which invites people from across the United Kingdom to β€œPlant a Tree for the Jubilee”.

Today was all made possible because Mrs Frankish wants our children to have every opportunity possible and become the role models of the future.

We would like to thank each and every individual that made today such an honour and so memorable.

    I felt really special being chosen to greet the Lord mayor and deputy Lieutenant, and I must really thank my teacher Mr Janjua for giving me this incredible opportunity. I would love to have more visits like this frequently.

    Congratulations to BH for being one of the few schools being selected for this rare and unique opportunity to celebrate The Queen’s Green Canopy.
