Week 2 in Reception Red

What a brilliantly busy week we have had. Following on with our theme of “Fantastic Lights” we read the story of Rama and Sita and the important role they play in the Diwali festival. We wrote about the story of Rama and Sita and we created beautiful diva lamps. As part of seal, we took part in turn taking and sharing by playing parachute games and singing songs. In Maths, we have been looking at numbers 1,2 and 3. We have challenged ourselves by using different ways to represent numbers. We ended the week with our children in needs event where we got to dress up and raise money for charity.
