Week 3 in RR

We have had another fantastic week in RR. Our theme for the week is Elmer 🐘 and the children have had a great time retelling the story, collaboratively creating our own Elmer for our display board and writing some amazing sentences about Elmer using adjectives. Children have been learning different ways to make 4 and 5 using 2 numbers which they excelled at. In SMSC we have been learning about David and Goliath and talking about a time when we were brave. Here are a few pictures and video of our week! 🤩

    Amelia enjoyed listening to the story ‘Elmer the Elephant’ and she enjoyed creating the colourful squares on the elephant.

    Can you please tell us adjectives which they are learning in school so we practice them at home too thanks.

      We have been encouraging the children to think of their own describing words (adjectives). Some of the adjectives we used to described Elmer are: happy, colourful, vibrant, red, yellow, sad. Hope this helps!
