    My definition:
a denominator is the bottom number of a fraction e.g 2/3 the 3 is the denominator because it is bigger then the numerator which is the top number. you always make sure the denominator is bigger han the numerator we use it in fraction that is a denominator

    Definition:
A denominator is a number that is under neath the numerator. It links to our maths work because it is a fraction and we have been learning about fractions. There are equivalent fractions here is some that is equivalent: 1/2,4/2,6/3,8/4,10/5
