Y1 We need your help!

Hi Year 1!

Next week is ‘Arts Around the World’ week and we will be learning about Islamic Art.

We will begin with a ‘Show and Tell’ session for the children to teach us everything they know about Islam!

If you have any Islamic artefacts that you wouldn’t mind showing the class, please bring them on Monday morning.

You might have some photos – for example, photos of you celebrating Eid. You could upload them below and we will share them with the class.

We will also be looking at where our families originate from. We know that many of our parents and grandparents were born in various different countries around the world and we would love to find out more! Please comment on the blog to tell us more.

    I’ve uploaded pictures of myself and my sister on eid . Also some pictures if my grandma she is wearing a head scarf and a Islamic gown over her clothes for modesty and covers her hair with the head scarf .

    My daddy was born in Pakistan, my grandmother lives in Pakistan. My uncle live in Pakistan. I call then chachoo that means dad’s younger brother.
    I visit Pakistan before when I was 4 years old . It was very hot, I played with my cousins there. I went to my chachoos wedding
