This half term, in our History lessons, we are learning about significant individuals (famous people). One very significant individual in our country was Queen Elizabeth II. She sadly died, but we would still like you to research this amazing historical figure. Read the text below and complete one or more of the challenges set.

Why do you think the Queen sends a telegram to people who are 100 years old?

PLATINUM

Choose another member of the Royal family. Research them and tell me 5 facts about them. You could choose Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Charles or even little Princess Charlotte.

Corgis are her favourite dogs .she has ‘sat’ for her portrait to be painted over 130 times ! she has nine thrones; six at Buckingham Palace! Queen Elizabeth is significant because she has many roles. Telegram means a message sent by a telegraph. because she wanted to congrats people . She is the second child of Prince William and Kate Middleton. She love’s the colour pink. Princess Charlotte enjoy horse riding. Princess Charlotte loves to dance. She has three royal titles.

    Coronation – The act or ceremony of drawing a Sovereign.
