Y6 Young Ambasadors training at St Mary’s Guildhall.

On the weekend of the 18th / 19th May, the Young Ambassadors (both Y5 and Y6) will involved in a “takeover” of St Mary’s Guildhall in the city centre. They will be involved in welcoming visitors, guided tours and arts and crafts activities. In preparation for this weekend, Year 6 CYAs will attend a training session at St Mary’s Guildhall on Wednesday 7th February (during the school day) where they will learn about cultural tourism and the roles of staff there. Year 5 cannot attend as they are on a trip so we will brief them after half term.

What a fabulous opportunity for our Young Ambassadors! Please can you reply to this blog to let us know which of the 19th / 20th May you would be able to attend.
