    Jessica has more because ten is bigger then ones and 29 is bigger than 27.
    Gold:
    Habib is right because you are adding to the tens column.
    Platinum:
    Isla is correct because 70p + 30p =£1 ( 100p ) and if you add the 2p to £1, you get £1.02p

    1.Jessica has the largest number because she has 29, however Faith has 27 which is 2 more than Jessica.

    Habib is correct because if you add 10 to a number your ones stay the same for example 10+10=20.
    Platinum:
    1.Isla is correct because if you add 70 and 32 it will equal 102 and if you have to change the number to a money rate it would be £1.02p which means she has more than £1.

    Then she made 7 lots of ten (10 p) from her birthday
    7×10=70
    Add 70 pence +32p
    Answer= 1.02p
    So she got more.

    The numbers that could have 4 tens are 40, 45 and 48.
    The numbers that could not have four tens are 6, 13 and 30 because they do not have four tens. 6 has 0 tens, 13 has 1 ten and 30 has 3 tens.

    Yes he is right because when you add 10 to 1 it makes 11 so the 1 stays the same.

    She does have over £1 because when you add 32+70 it = 102. So she has £1.02p.

    Jessica has the largest number because 2 tens and 9 ones = 29 and Faith only has 27 ones which = 27 Jessica has 2 more than Faith.

    Habib is right because if you add ten to any number the tens goes higher and the ones stay the same example 10,20,30,40,50.

    Yes Isla is correct because she has £1.02
    7 tens = 70
    3 tens = 30
    2 ones = 2 add them altogether and it is £1.02p so it is more than £1

    Jessica has biggest number because if you add 2 and 9 together, it will equal 29

    Habib is right because if you add any number with ten, the ones column will stay the same because the zero in the ten has no value. So any number with a ones column will stay same because it wouldn’t make sense if you add zero with the number in one column
