An even number is a number that ends in 2,4,6,8; or 0.
When you add two even numbers together they will stay even.
For example:
2+2=4 6+4=10 8+2=10
Amaal used her knowledge of her number bonds to ten to help her.

The linear sequence is shown below:
5+9+1=15
2+7+4=13
3+5+2+1=11
4+2+3=9
2+2+3=7
Emaan can see that 7,9,11,13,15 they are going up in 2’s therefore it is linear as linear means it goes up the same amount each time and Emaan could see that.
