No geese dose not need 8 bags to carry 50 eggs because a bag can carry 10 eggs and there are 50 eggs not 80 eggs.

smaller coin they can use is 50p+20p+5P=75p
larger coin they can use is 50+20p+10p=80p

    Silver
it is wrong because 1 box cannot contain 10 eggs, unless there are 5 boxes in order to get 50 eggs but in this case the boxes are 8

    Bronze:

Yes the badger is right because the 17th egg lands on the colour yellow.

    Silver:

It’s wrong because a box of eggs hold 10 eggs, and 50 eggs are needed. That would mean that 5 boxes are needed.

    Gold:

The largest number of coins: 50p 20p and 5p

    The smallest number of: 1p 1p 1p 2p 10p 10p 10p 20p 20p

    Silver.
If a box holds 10 eggs and they need 50 eggs, that means they need 5 boxes because 80 boxes will be 80 eggs and that will be too many as they don’t need that many.

    (Bronze)

Yes, the badger is right because if we count the colours up to 17 then we will have a yellow colour.

    (Gold)

The Geese is right because 8×10=80 so in each boxes there it will hold 8 geeses. Therefore, 5×10= 50 , so therefore, 50 boxes it will hold 5 geeses.

    Bronze

Yes Badger is correct the 17th colour is yellow. Because there’s three colours you start from number 3 . Yellow is the second colour so you count up in two’s . So 5 7 9 11 13 15 17 .

    Silver

No the geese are wrong . This is because 50 divided by 10 = 5 . This means they only need 5 boxes .

    Gold

A: 50p 20p and 5p is the smallest amount of coins.

B: 75 x 1p is the largest amount of coins.

    GD

The Easter bunny is now using a triangular prism because their first box was a cuboid . A cuboid has 6 faces and 8 vertices . The new shape has 3 less faces and 2 less vertices . So it must have triangle faces to join up the 3 faces .

    Bronze challenge

Yes the badger is right that the 17th egg will be yellow because the pattern is pink, yellow, blue

So this pattern is p,y,b,p,y,b,p,y,b,p,y,b,p,y,b,p,y and so in this pattern the 17th egg is yellow.

    Silver challenge

No the geese is not right because a 1 box holds 10 eggs. They only need to hold 50 eggs. So 50 divided by 10 = 5. So they only need 5 boxes.

    Gold challenge

    1. The smallest number of coins they could pay with us 3 coins which would be 50p + 20p + 5p = 75p

    2. The largest number of coins they could pay with is 75 coins by using all 1p so 1p*75 = 75p
