    I notice that 1 × 10 = 10 and 10 × 10 = 100 (100 × 100 = 1000)

I noticed that Dexter is correct because when multiple with 10 then we have to always add a zero to the end.

    820 times 10 = 820
    68 times 10 = 680
    43 times 10= 430

    (Silver)

    The length of the room is 600m and the width is 200m because 6 ✖️ 100=600 and 2 ✖️ 100 = 200m.

The function machine 15p ✖️£1.50 does not multiply by 100 because 15 ✖️ 100 does not equal to 1.50.

    (Gold)

    43 ✖️ 5= 215
    36 ✖️ = 144
    74 ✖️ 5 = 370

    Jack is correct because 4 ✖️ 6= 24, 30 ✖️ 6 = 180, 200 ✖️ 6 =1200. So the answer is 1404. Sam did not add the exchanged number.

Dexter has just moved the ones column one space to the right because there was only one placeholders the first answer is 820 because 1 space moved to the right is 820.the second one Is 680 because they moved it one space to the right again which adds a placeholder and makes it 680.The last one is 430 because 1 placeholder to the right is 430 so the answer is 430.
      Silver
So the perimeter of the plan is 2+2+6+6=16cm but in metres it is 16m and so the length is 12m and the width is 4m so all you have to do is just add the cm and add metres because 1 metre is 100cm.so 100x that is just in metres.
      Gold
1st 43×5= 4×5=20 so 40×5=200 3×5=15 15+200=215 so the first question is 43×5 and the answer is 215. 2nd is 36×4= 3×4=12 so 30×4=120 6×4=24 120+24=144 so that question equals the same as 12×12 because 36 is also part of the 12timestables.3rd is 74×5= 7×5=35 so 70×5=350 4×5=20 350+20=370 so the answer to 74×5=370.now sam is the incorrect one because he forgot to add the exchange but Jack on the other hand has added the exchange so Jack is correct and Sam is incorrect the correct answer is 1404 but Sam incorrect one is 1204.

    1. I noticed that you had to add a place holder because you are multiplying by 10.
    82X10=820
    68X10=680
    43X10=430
    Silver
    1. 6cm X 2cm=8cm
Because it is a hundred times bigger you have to times 8 by 100 which equals 800 so the answer is 800.
    2. The function machine in the middle because 15p X 100 does not equal £1.50.
    Gold
    1. Jack is correct i know this because, 24 +180 +1200 exactly equals 1404.

The first one is 820 because he moved it to the right and all you have to do is add a place holder at the end . The second one Is 680 because same again you just move it one space to the right because your × it by one place holder but if it was 2 you have to move it 2 spaces to the left. The 3rd one is 430 because all you do is add a place holder and move it one space to the left .
    Silver
The length is 6metres and the width is 2metres and the reason it is metres is because there is 100cm in one metre so 600cm is 6metres and 200cm is 3metres
The one that is incorrect is the 30p one because all they do is change the the p sign into a pound sign which is not correct the correct one are the 1st one the 2nd and the one which is wrong is the third the correct answer will be £3
    Gold
    The first one is 43×5 4×5=20so 40×3=120 3×5=15 15+120=135 the second one Is 36×4 3×4=12 so 4×30=120 6×4=24 120+24=144. The 3rd one is 74×5 7×5=35 so 5×70=350 4×5=20 20+350=370 .
Sam is incorrect because he forgot to add the exchange which made his answer wrong but Jack on the other hand did add the exchange which made his answer correct.
I HOPE I WIN THE MATHS CHALLENGE PRIZE!

    :BRONZE:
1.82*10 will equal 820 beacause 820 is ten times bigger than 82 so it will need a 0 at the end
    2. 68*10 will equal 680 because 680 is ten times bigger than 68 so at the end the 68 will need a 0 at the end
    3. 43*10 will equal 430 because 430 is ten times bigger than 43 so you will have to add a zero to the end

:SIVER: THE length of the room will be 12m beacause 6*2=12 and the calculation is showing 2*6 so the length of the room will be 12m.
the one that is not multiply by 100 is 15p beacause 15p*10 will equal 1.50£ because 10*15 will equal 150 so 15p*10 will equal 1.50£

    :GOLD:
    43*5=215
    36*4=144

That when you multiply a 2 digit number by 10 all you have to do is add a 0.
    82×10=820
    68×10=680
    43×10=430
    Silver
The width of the room is 800m and length is 200m.
    15×100 and 30×100 is the one that doesn’t multiply by a 100 to 1.50 and 3.00 bcs 15×100=15.00 and 30×100=30.00 and 3×100=3.00
    Gold
    43×5=215
    36×4=144
    74×5=370
Jack the correct answer bcs Sam forgot to add the 2 hundreds onto the hundreds coulmn and jack added all then extras.

I notice that all you need to do is move the numbers to left and put a place holder at the end. 82 times 10 = 820
    68 times 10=680
    43 times 10 = 430

the length of the room is actually 600m. The width is actually 200m. I know this because the 100 times table is just like 1 times table.
The function machine which does not multiply by 100 is the middle one. this is because you cannot times 100 by 15 and 1.50
    GOLD
the first answer is 35. The second answer is 36. The third answer is 55. Sam is correct because Jack said 6 times 2 = 14 and Sam said 6 times 2 is 12.

i noticed that dexter is correct because when you multiply 32 by 10 you always have to add a zero because all the multiples of ten have zero and we are timesing by ten that is how we have to change it into the next colmn
    82 x10=820
    68×10=680
    43×10=430

so in this you have to do 6×100=600

    so the lenghth is 600m
    and the wighth is 200m
30px 100=30ponds is wrong because when you x 30 by 100 you have to add 2 zeroes wich is 3000pounds
    gold
