Can you please put the following verbs from the text into a sentence? exclaimed, muttered, gasped, bet
    “No”, exclaimed Phileas Fogg
“A fine thing”, muttered Passepartout as he packed his bags
    “Around the world”, gasped Passepartout
“Do you accept this bet?”questioned Phileas Fogg
Silver: How does Fogg feel about his upcoming journey around the world? Use evidence from the text to support your answer.
I predict he feels nervouse because he is not sure if he is going to make it in time and what if he loses the bet he will be ashamed. I also think he is excited because he gets to travel around the world and win a bet if he could.
Gold: What can we infer about the relationship between Fogg and his servant Passepartout? Use evidence from the text to support your answer.
I wouldn’t say that Passepartout is his servant i would say assistant and that Passepartout is nervous because he is not sure if he made a bad decision to go on the mission incase something bad happens.

He can do lots of things like traveling the world in eighty minutes/ eighty days, and the other guy does not know how to do it, he is just so shocked his servant can do that if he can do that he does a bet which is giving lots of money. if he can’t do that he will be ordering food for the rest of his life. So he agrees

    Bronze…
    The following verbs are:
    -exclaimed
    -muttered
    -gasped
    -bet
    *exclaimed*
“I am devoted to travel the world in 80 minutes! exclaimed” Phileas Fogg.
    *muttered*
“There’s no possible way that he could travel the world in just 80 minutes” muttered another.
    *Gasped*
Phileas gasped by the amount of money he’d win if he completed the task.
    *bet*
I had bet with 20 pounds on lottery yesterday.
    Silver:
I have inferred from the text that Phileas is feeling confident as instead do in 80 days he insisted for it to be 80 mins + the way the writer had used his vocab he seems really determined and self assertive.
    Gold:
Phileas: really determined and bubbly to be go to the world in 80 mins and visiting 296 countries.

Passepatourt: Frustrated that he had to go on a trip even though he wanted peace and quiet especially when Phileas is super vibrant .
    Gold
I feel like that passepourt will soon start change in terms of feelings towards Fogg and Fogg will understand passepourt emotions making there bond a lot more stronger

I think Fogg feels nervous because in the text it said that he spoke quietly and he muttered. Also I think he feels excited because he wants to go around the world and he accepted the bet.

Gold: What can we infer about the relationship between Fogg and his servant Passepartout? Use evidence from the text to support your answer.
I think the relationship between his servant Passepartout was good before but because now he has to go around the world with him he probably feels nervous. I know this because in the text it says that he gasped that he heard the news about going around the world in eighty days with Fogg.
