Year 5 Homework Spring 1 Week 1

Hi Year 5, here is your homework for this week.

Select two pieces of homework to complete and log into Spelling Shed and practise your spelling words.

Homework should be a celebration of your learning and should reflect your full effort and ability. Homework is also a brilliant opportunity to discover more and take time to produce a piece of work you are truly proud of. The best efforts could even be sent to Mr Andrews when he calls for good work.

Homework MUST be completed and brought into school on WEDNESDAY at the latest. This includes your spellings.

To recall rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000

Pinball Wizz on Education City.

English

To read and comprehend.

WOW!

To research toys from history.

Research a toy from history and create a fact file/non-chronological report about it.

    The maths homework works you just have to type it in.

    I did my Education city and got 100%. It was not in the task so I searched Pinball Whizz.

    1)The wealthy
    2)If a man with a family was sent to the workhouse the rest of the family would go with him.

    4)Men=stone breaking and wood chopping.Women=scrubbing walls and laundry.

    7)People feared the workhouse because others starved and there was a high death rate.
