    1) 3/4 because I know 4 ( the divisor ) Γ· 12 (the dividend ) = 3. There are 3 out of 4.
    2) 5/8 . I worked out 8 – 3 = 5 . There is 5 out of 8.
3 ) 2/5 because you need to paint 2 more parts to complete the full vase.
4 ) They keep 5 cobs and use 3/4 for food.
    5) The trader sold 10 jade beans and kept 5 . I know this because with fractions you divide by the denominator and times by the numerator.

    Gold

    1) The scribe carves 56 glyphs on 7 stones. I know this because 7 x 8 = 56.
    2) The farmer plants 108 maize plants. I know this because 12 x 9 = 108.
    3) 45 drinks are consumed at the feast because 15 x 3 = 45. I worked 15 x 3 by doing 5 x 3 = 15 and 3 x 10 = 30. 15 + 30 = 45.
    4) 24 patterns are decorated on the pyramid. I know this by working out 6 x 4 = 24 I then checked my answer by doing 6 Γ· 24 = 4
    5) The Mayan trader sells 120 Jade beans. I know this because 5 x 24 = 120. To do this I multiplied 5 by 4 which equals 20 and 20 x 5 which equals 100. I added them and got 120.

    πŸŒ™ = 0
    β˜ͺ️ = 1
    πŸ•‹ = 5
    πŸ•Œ = 10
    For example:

    β˜ͺ️ + πŸ•‹ = 6
    πŸ•Œ + πŸ•‹ = 15
