    First men on moon!
Earlier this morning (20th July 1969), Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins landed on the moon after launching from the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida on the 16th of July. As some people know, there was a competition between the Soviet Union and the USA. The objective was who could put man on the moon first. The USA had now won the competition and all the Americans are now celebrating their victory.

Neil Armstrong was born at the 5th August 1930.

Neil Armstrong was accepted to the NASA Astronaut Corps

On the 16th July Apollo 11 mission began.
At 20th July 1969 Neil Armstrong was the first person to land on the moon

He knew that something wrong was happening so he had to Manual it and another reason was that he had other people to help him fly.
    Silver
The three people who took part in Apollo 11 was Edwin , Aldrin and Michael Collin

The phrase that tells the Eagle wouldn’t land Automatically was being on low fuel.
They were unsure how long their suites would last because of the high temperature .

I think 600 million people watched this on television because of that they wanted to see the moon landing and see USA win the space race competition.

In my opinion the most dangerous part of the mission was when they had low fuel because what if they did not be able to make it back to Earth.

Apollo 11 is USA 11th time trying to do the moon landing but each time they were unsuccessful
The people right now at space are flying really good but NASA is worried about the suits because when they get out it will be 100% or over .
Here is some quotes by people watching .
” Gosh I really hope Apollo 11 works out good ”
Someone else said this is the 11th time trying if this doesn’t work we might loose .
Here is a quote by a journalist .
The suits might explode but i hope not this is going to be such a remarkable achievement for the whole world of we make it .
Well that’s it for now come back in a bit to see if they made it or not .
Will they make it or will it all be fail .

September 1962 = Neil Armstrong was accepted in the NASA astronaut corps.
16th July = the Apollo 11 mission began.
20th July = Neil Armstrong became the first man on the moon.

Two things that hoped Neil was to keep calm under the stress and to keep going no matter how risky it is to be heading on a dangerous path.

    SILVER:

Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins were involved with the Apollo 11 mission.
One phrase that shows that the eagle didn’t land automatically is he took manual control.
NASA were unsure about the space suits because they haven’t been to the moon before this so they didn’t know what it was like for sure.
600 million people watched it because something looks that never happened before and it was exciting food everyone.
The part of the mission that was the most dangerous was when Neil had to take control of the Apollo 11 it must have been scary being in control.
