I really enjoyed Dovedale. I enjoyed climbing the mountain the most especially when we got near to the summit. Now I am able to understand the different terrains on different surfaces.

    Challenge
    Dear diary,
Today we were going to climb Thorpe Cloud in Dovedale. I was part of the overnight stay so I woke up and jumped out of bed 6:45 sharp. I washed up and put on my hiking clothes. I inhaled my breakfast and then we were off for a walk. We were exploring around Ilham Hall. We finished the walk and eagerly waited for the rest to arrive

Finally! Everyone arrive and people went to the toilet. I was getting very impatient until every one came out and our journey started. We walked and walked and walked until the real challenge came up. We following a path until the slippery grass covered it. Slowly after the path came back and we were on our way. Parent were allowed to come and my dad came and we got told there was another group behind and we were sent to help them. We went back down and came back up feeling even more eager than ever to conquer Thorpe Cloud. There was a little flat surface so we decided to have our lunch.

Lunch was great but the real deal was up. We climb up muddy steps until the more rocky areas came I felt worried but I carried on bending my knees to get to where we needed to be . We slowly made it and found a rock wall to sit on while we listen to the teachers. There I viewed lots of fields which were spilt by a rock wall and hedges. We were able to see lots of trees and steep rocks We came back down feeling so tired and took another little walk all the way back to the coach. We finally got there and I felt so tired I had fell asleep even hearing all the noise.

  2. I really liked Dovedale although it was tiring walking for a long time. Also it was a slippery and really rocky but I didn’t fall or get hurt. The good thing about Dovedale is that we saw lots of great views and walked up he Thorp cloud.

I had a great time and a lovely trip! I was a little tired but I managed.I didn’t think that the mountains would be that rocky or that muddy or slippy.Luckily ,I didn’t slip or fall.

One feature I did not see on the mountains was a tree line. I think this this because the trees overlapped tip the summit of the mountain.

Wow! A nice adventure to experience and a fear to overcome for others, (heights). This was a trip to show us the landmarks and terrain of a mountain biome.
