3Red Explore the Stone Age

This afternoon 3 Red explored the Stone Age by taking part in a range of activities outside. We participated in tasks which the early settlers would have carried in their everyday life. We whittled weapons using stones, grinded wheat and barley and practiced drawing cave paintings to communicate to others. Please watch our video!

How did you feel facing all these problems? Which task was the most difficult? Explain why. Comment your answers below.

The weapons we made are so cool!
We made them by carving soap and putting it on a twig.
We also did cave paintings and grinding.
My favourite activity was the soap carving.
I liked it because it felt like we are actually in the Stone Age.
It was different because we were carving soap instead.
