What is a theme?
A theme is the topic or topics of a story.

What Myths did we look at?
Hercules
Persephone
Artemis
Odysseus and the Cyclops
Theseus and the Minotaur

What themes did you identify in these Myths?
Most of the myths had a journey in it.
Persephones’ journey was with Hades to the underworld, where she got crowned Queen of the underworld.
