    Schools in Spain
Some schools in start at 9am and end at 5pm but they have a 2 hour lunch. Other schools begin at 9am to 2pm.One day is for 7 hours Monday to Friday.

The core curriculum is usually the Spanish language , literature , Mathematics, Geography, History, a foreign language and Physical Education. Optional subjects include Music, Technology, and Social,Moral studies.

Spanish school hours depend on each type of school. Some may run from 9 am through 5 pm with a two hour lunch break. Other schools may begin at 8 and end at 3 pm, the typical lunch time in Spain. Some schools may have only a one hour lunch break and may or may not provide a cafeteria for children to eat at the school. So in some schools they go home for lunch and break time.

In Spain there are many after school clubs they are mostly based on sports, dance , education and sewing. There are many more clubs but these are the most common in many schools . They start at 5.30 to 6.30 so they are for 1 hour.
