Incisors are the teeth you use for breaking your food down into big chunks so your molars and canines don’t have much to do. Your canines are used for tearing ups thick layers of things like meat and the skin of fish the canines are sharp so they can cut through the toughness of the skin . Pre molars and molars are used for mashing down food into consistency so then it’s easier to swallow and to eat if you didn’t have premolars and molars it would be hard to eat because your throat wouldn’t be able to take down the chunks of food and you would choke. Wisdom teeth normally come when you’re between the ages of 18 and 30 wisdom teeth or teeth that grow at the back of your mouth and some people get them removed because they are because they carry diseases but sometimes they don’t. animals have different teeth to humans because some are carnivores and some are herbivores ,carnivores are normally have more sharp teeth so they can cut through things like meat and fish these mean they can have a diet full of protein. Herbivores normally have more molars as they eat things like leaves and plants usually give them energy but it is released slowly. I would compare canines to nice cause they cut through thick things that you can’t cut through using your incisors or molars. I would compare a pessel and mortar to molars because they mush food up into a consistency that is made of less chunks and is more like a liquid.

When Your teeth grow they fall out and grow into adult teeth, making it easier to bite and chew into your food.
At the front there are 8 teeth top and bottom which are called ‘Incisors’. Their purpose is to cut and slice food in your mouth like a knife.
Next to those you have 4 quite sharp teeth called ‘Canines’ they are usually used when you’re eating meat so they can rip and tear right through it.
Next teeth behind your canines are your Molars and Premolars, their job is to crush compress and grind your food.
The last ones are the Wisdom Teeth. They start growing at 18+ but, if it doesn’t grow correct it gets infected and you have to remove them, which is really painful.

Fun facts about teeth. Biological teeth generally grow on the base gums and are inclined to have feeble roots; they’re often detached to avoid problems with breastfeeding and fortuitous swallowing.
The enamel on the top surface on your tooth is the hardest part of your entire body. Teeth start to form even before you are born—milk teeth or baby teeth start to form when the baby is in the womb, but they come through when the child is between 6-12 months old.
Teeth are made of three layers: enamel, dentine and nerves. The outer layer is the enamel and enamel is mainly made of minerals. In fact, almost 96 % of the enamel is minerals and yes, its harder than bone but don’t test it on bottle caps- it can be damaged by metal or glass. 2.
Cavities are one of the most common chronic diseases in kids in the US. Children with poor oral health often miss more school and have lower grades than children with good oral health.

Incisors Incisors help you bite off and chew pieces of food. 2. Canines These teeth are used for tearing and ripping food. 3. Molars These help you crush and grind food. Our teeth will change with age. So, the teeth you have when you are a baby aren’t the same as the one’s you will have as an adult.
