    Direct speech has inverted commas and reported speech is without inverted commas but how we would say it.

    1) The difference is that direct speech Has inverted commas and direct speech has no inverted commas .

    1)The difference between reported speech and direct speech is that reported speech is when there is no inverted commas.

    The difference is that reported speech is in the past but direct speech is present tense.
