Year 2 Art – Home Learning 10.3.23

Mr Carter

Continuing our learning about Rachel Dein, today we would like you to chose one of the following tasks to complete.

  1. Sketch a daffodil.
  2. Make imprints in the snow.

1.Follow this tutorial to sketch a daffodil.

2. As Rachel uses flowers to imprint into clay (see the video), we thought it might be cool to experiment with imprints in the snow. You could use shoes with a deep treat, use sticks and makes patterns, or use your bodies instead. Think creatively to find the most interesting imprint you can.

      It would be even better if you could now colour the flower in.
      Well done for labelling the flower, although you may want to check they are spelt correctly.
