Adam said he learnt the teachers were very strict and they didn’t have washing machine like we do at our house. Adam said he grated some soap using grater. Then we get some water you had to use your muscles to pump some water in the bucket Adam said he was very good at this. The victorian used dolly stick to wash there clothes and I really enjoyed washing the clothes using the dolly stick and worked together with Dyari. The victorian used mangle to fold there clothes. The Miss was called Ma’am. They had bath by the servants going to get them some water in the bucket and they sat in a chair and had bath they don’t have bath like us. Adam said he really enjoyed the trip doing lots of different activities whilst learning all about victorians day thank you.

Ameya enjoyed visiting St John’s Museum, also, she understand the conventional way of washing and drying used by the Victorian people. She liked the mangle, which is used for drying clothes.

To have a bath, the servants for the victorians bring them water in buckets which they pour over themselves whilst sitting in a chair.

I would not like to be in Victorian times. The teacher was so strict and the classroom was dark. I did like being a butler and cleaning.
