Monday – Today we started our day with Radio Taiso to start our learning with some stretches like in Japan Schools. Next we looked at different types of health. Mental Health, Emotional Health, and Physical Health. We created some self portraits of our own positive health attributes next to our own faces. Do you like our self portraits?
Tuesday – Today we researched healthy eating and created a poster to celebrate healthy eating at a celebration party. Next, we looked at how humans change as they get older. We ordered humans on a time line and we are investigating the big question โHow can we stay fit and healthy as we get older?โ
Wednesday – Today, we were investigating whether reactions change depending on your age. We were able to investigate over the school and concluded the reactions do change over age. Then, we created our own fitness circuit to ensure we stay fir and healthy even when at home on holidays. Finally, we then were lucky enough to learn some first aid too.
Thursday – Today, we have had such a busy day. Firstly we created some Hummus. This was made from Chickpeas. From this we made our own Hummas recipe cards so we can remember how to make it at home. Next, we went on our own mini mathathon. It was very good although we did get HOT! Finally, we created a poster to help elderly stay fit and healthy. What a great day!
Friday – The final day to our health week went really well. We evaluated the health week with a survey we created ourselves and created a graph to show our data results. Then we had a sports round robin. We completed some tag games, archery and outside gym work.
